Introduction

There have always been humans born with paranormal abilities, and those that follow the path of the mage. They weren’t common, however, as only a select few from each generation were blessed with these incredible gifts. Even then, most abilities were mundane; for every individual with truly frightening power, there were another hundred who could scarcely be considered “superhuman”. Interestingly, as the era of magic ended and practitioners became rarer, the number of these children with certain “special” powers increased. The past five decades have seen the greatest increase in their numbers, with the past two decades providing an influx of individuals with more potent abilities. It has even been reported that some of these gifted children were born into mage families, giving them even more power. With the advent of these new, stronger ability users, governmental intervention became inevitable. In response to the growing threat posed by the ability users, as well as the government’s own desire to harness their abilities, they created a special branch known as D.E.C ( Department of Evolutionary Control ). Their strike teams were swift and ruthless, taking those individuals identified as either confirmed or potential ability users from their homes and transferring them to research facilities throughout the country. It was at these facilities that they began their experiments, altering their powers, giving them new ones, “perfecting” their new weapons while giving them false promises of making them heroes so the world would accept them

Increasing the perception of Speed, Depth, and Stilness. It is able to track and predict movements, creating a faint red outline of the targets next move by understanding the subtle movements of the human body. In addition to pathing, it also carries at least partial ability to see through falsehoods, be them illusions, disquises, or even lies. It truly gives Trey eyes that see through all trickery, seeing only the truth (sometimes he exaggerates the effectiveness to unnerve opponents).

K i l l e r  P o i n t (V i s i o n)

An advanced form of Pinpoint, characterized by red eyes (the byproduct of increased bloodflow). Killer Point Vision highlights the Killer Points on a human body. It also increases the level of perception granted by Pinpoint to new heights. Overusing Killer Point Vision can cause the eyes to fail due to the massive amount of information being sent to the eyes and brain, rendering Trey blind while they recover.

Angelica’s personality is shown as having many different facets. She is a dominant, spontaneous, creative and extroverted character. She possess grace, dignity and an expansive personality. Tends to dominate her environment. She is noted as being very intelligent, athletic, and naturally talented at almost anything.
Angelica was born to lead and is most effective when in a position of command. Straightforward, uncomplicated. She possess a strong positive nature and doesn’t shrink from adverse circumstances. Not easily daunted, and will persist through the most formidable circumstances. Even though she’s noted for being very athletic, she is extremely lazy.With that, it’s a fact she is only athletic when needed.
Surounds her self in people she calls her servants. Gives off an air of elitism, wants to take distances from common people and that’s probably why she sometimes appears as too arrogant.
Her sense of humor is often compared to a males humor, so it’s easier for her to befriend males, and is often seen as “one of the guys.” yet her physical aspects are far to feminine for one to come at that conclusion by eye sight. Noted to be a “bitch” for saying what’s on her mind to anyone about anything. Quick tempered, blunt and nasty when she has been affronted. A forceful person, doesn’t like to be contradicted. And will find a way to hax her way through life. Angelica also has a child-like side, which some have referred to her as “Moe”. Sometimes even seen as a sweetheart on rare occasions. Not many get to see this side.

One of the many things she enjoys doing is dressing up, whether it be classy for an important date or in costume for fun. She’s dressed as a catgirl, bunnygirl, witch and other things for fun. Her favorite animal is the cat, if given a kitten she would not be able to refuse it. Enjoys eating food, often hungry so Angelica will mostly be seen eating, or complaining of how hungry she is. Angelica also has a fascination with thigh high socks/stockings, every time she sees some, she has to buy them. Enjoys drawing and picking on Juliette.

People who are idiotic. Dogs, and bugs. Plebeians and ugly people, lack of class and glamour. Fish and all kind of sea food. Pig, and eggs. Everyone she meets at first, untill they grow on her.

 Isn’t romantically inclined. Thinks of men as her toys, playing with one and tossing it aside when she gets bored. This is mostly because most men don’t meet her standards thus she never develops any feelings for them. But for those, rare “lucky” men who do swoon her they indeed see a side of Angelica no one has seen before.



?A b i l i t i e s?
Speed: Her speed is of an average athletic human, nothing “super natural.” Unless Angelica uses a spell that would increase her speed and even so, it wouldn’t last long. It will take up her mana. So it’s only used when she sees it’s really needed.


Endurance: The endurance of Angelica is high, but it’s not her strongest quality with her refusing to exercises from being slothful. Again, it can be amped up using a spell but it wont last long
either and it will take up her mana. So it’s only used when she sees it’s really needed. Super


Strength: On various occasions Angelica has been seen able to provide inhuman strength, possibly done through the flow of mana and a spell to enhance her human abilities. Feline intuitive: Great cat like balance and reflexes.
Cat’s Eye: Ability to see in the dark at night, in spaces with no light through the flow of mana into her eyes.


Gates of Void: As a young child Angelica would often make things vanish into thin air into another dimension, sometimes losing them forever and few times she was able to recover them. After a few years of perfecting her ability she was able to materialize the gate to the dimension and expand it to what ever size she desired able to make anything from a spec of dust to a whole city disappear into this empty world. But this has a draw back on herself, the bigger the gate the more strain it causes her body. The average house takes a day of recovery, swallowing a city would take a month. Everything smaller than that is a matter of hours and minutes.


Orionis: Collecting a mixture of start particles, and interstellar dust a small variation, imitation of a “protostar” is created by the user. After it gathers density the “core” is projected as a beam of “light” that can break through barriers, causing massive damage. Though a barrier of intense magical power or a strong an enough solid barrier might be able to stop it, if not take some damage. It is uncertain how the particles are collected or where they come from, but its said to be pulled into by a small opening of Gates of Void creating a connection to outer-space taking in the materials needed to materialize this attack. This stage of Orionis is level one ( the first stage) out of six higher levels.

?Enchant: User to been seen with great sex appeal, almost enchanting. Mostly works in genders of the opposite sex, but it has been reported to work on some same sex genders. This ability can be controled if one has great ability.


?Restriction: Upon activation the subject is immobilized when eye-contact is made.


?Refraction: A refraction, allows one to change the trajectory of flying objects, even those with great supernatural power when the waves are rotated in the same direction. When used on a person it often creates gruesome dismemberment as their limps are twisted with great force that they break off. If done in an empty area it will create a twister of space (bending space) and the area will be swallowed into itself creating a distortion in time.


Having inborn thaumaturgical sight of distortion was hard for Angelica to control as a young child, over time she was able to control them. With her magic training she was able to develop thaumaturgical sight of enchant, binding and night vision, giving her four types of thaumaturgical sight. Due to her magic resistance being of “A” rank, she is not subtle to magical manipulations/possessions or those that work with eyes, and brain waves, how ever she is vulnerable to manipulation through sound waves, not being exposed to it before her body doesn’t know how to cancel out the ability and is mostly found being “hypnotized” by distort music.

Heart Steal: An illusion that tricks the subject into believing that the user is able to punch through chest cavities ripping out the subject’s heart. Transferring her mana into it claiming that person as her own, leaving a mark to show that they (subject) belongs to her. The mana allows the person to continue living after their heart has been tampered with, if wanted Angelica can stop the mana transfusion ending the persons life. The subject of this attack loses free will of his or hers actions. Once given a command even though protested enough the subject cannot get rid of this “curse” and is forced to do it. Certain people react different and symptoms may vary when refusing. The “gift” given to each individual struck by this attack is that as long as Angelica is alive they will be too and only her hands can end it, so until she dies or decides to cut the strings they are basically “immortal.”


Feline descend: Combining her Feline intuitive and her magic she is able to fall and land safely from the top of a building.


?O r i g i n s?
 Angelica comes from a wealthy family, the family name goes back lineage of power and wealth. Some of her friends suspect her father is part of some old mafia possibly in the high ranks, this has not been confirmed. Her mother’s linage comes from one of mages. Ironically her grandmother form her father’s side also comes from a linage of mages, but no one knows this. So Angelica has magical linage from both sides of her family that date back to the era of the gods, making her mana count higher than the typical mage and her resistance to magical attacks, magical possessions of the highest ranked “A”; yet only was the magic from her mother’s side given to her.

Angelica was also one of the gifted children, a truly rare thing, for a gifted child to be born into a family of mages. Around the age of 12 she was sent to a boarding school, an honor student, the class idol. She was known for only talking to a few “selected” people. Since birth Angelica has been in an arranged marriage with Stephen, as a young woman she still dates other men for the fun, or it might be her way of searching for love considering she currently doesn’t have any feelings of attachment towards any male, not even her fiancée.

Every character in Waking Dream is based on an actual person in real life. Their name, personality, stats, likes and dislikes are used. The character artwork is also accurate to their look in real life.

         The reason is this, in real life who is the main character? From your perspective you are the main character. Everyone sees the world and feels life as if they were the main character, when in reality it could not be them but someone else. We are trying to bring this feeling into Waking dream; a sense that everyone is the main character. Of course in reality not everyone in Waking Dream is the main character it just feels like that.

Each character in Waking Dream is also played by that respective person they are based of.

         Every character is played and has a story developed by the person they are based of, simply because what batter way to get someone’s accurate point of view than from that certain individual. If they play their character they will be more true to how they are, and again it will bring that sense of being the main character for everyone.
